If you decapitate someone, then put on their clothes, won’t they be bloody? An article in Meridian magazine discusses this subject. Meridian aims to provide ‘Inspiration for Latter Day Saint Living’, a worthy objective.

If the clothes were removed first and then he was slain that would solve the bloody clothes problem. However the order of action places decapitation before taking the garments,

1 Nep 4 :18 Therefore I did obey the voice of the Spirit, and took Laban by the hair of the head, and I smote off his head with his own sword. 19 And after I had smitten off his head with his own sword, I took the garments of Laban and put them upon mine own body; yea, even every whit; and I did gird on his armour about my loins.

The wording arguably still allows wriggle room for the possibility of clothes to have been removed first. However inference suggests otherwise.
