FAIR is a non-profit organisation dedicated to providing well-documented answers to criticisms of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Half way down its Links page, it provides two lists as follows: Sites Favourable to the critic’s position AND Sites supporting the devout LDS position. There are plenty of them
Formerly known as the Reorganised C of JC of LDS. They obviously have very close associations to the SLC version due to their shared beginnings. Their beliefs have changed dramatically in recent times. LDS members who maintain strong feelings towards Jesus as a man or a God will find themselves readily accepted by this warm, though sparse community. When I met a number of them at Sunstone in Sept 22, it was like discovering hitherto unknown cousins.

The Sunstone Education Foundation started in 1974 as a magazine that published on Mormon “experience, scholarship, issues, and art.” Then, in 1978, it branched out into symposia and regional conferences. It is a marvellous organisation that has in recent times run events that have been organised with UK members, currently Laura & Julian Heath. The UK events link illustrates the wide variety of topics presented. It’s current CEO in America is Lindsay Hansen Park .
“THRIVING Beyond Orthodox Mormonism” project is an effort to provide tips, tricks, inspiration, and hope to those who are questioning, doubting, and/or leaving orthodox Mormonism – through sharing profiles of thriving post-Mormons and progressive Mormons. The organisation is associated with Mormon Stories .It is USA based but has in the last couple of years funded a UK annual event.
There is a THRIVE UK Facebook group with over 100 members you can apply to join, The group is facilitated by Kathryn Smutek and a new zoom gathering is planned for Sunday 11th December 7pm.
Similarly The Heaths run a SUNSTONE UK DISCUSSIONS group with over 70 members.
