Apologists for the original Book of Mormon claim that predominantly the changes were in respect of grammar and punctuation. I find it disappointing that if an angel was assigned responsibility for placing the words on the seer stone they were not up to speed on knowledge of the English language. However moving forward, I highlight two additions that were highlighted many years ago by Jerald and Sandra Tanner of the Utah Lighthouse Ministry, they are both found in 1 Nephi chap 11 verses 21 and 32.

v 21 And the angel said unto me, Behold the Lamb of God, yea, even the Son of the Eternal Father!

v 32 And I looked and beheld the Lamb of God, that he was taken by the people; yea, the Son of the everlasting God

The clarifications or additions in bold were not in the original 1830 first edition, they were added in later editions. These are significant because in their original form they would resemble Trinitarian theology, reading, Behold the Lamb of God, the Eternal Father / the everlasting God. What do you think? More than just grammar ?
